Hummer-Stübchen

The Attic Club

Stadtmitte - Above the rooftops of Düsseldorf, 'the attic kö eins' presents a club concept on an international level. On the sixth floor of the heritage-listed, traditional building, selected Vocal, Disco, and Soulful House Beats enliven the copper roof. In order to unify the mix of trend lovers, bankers and creative people into a homogeneous group, three rooms were created for this concept. The design of 'the attic', the main floor, is impressive because of its creative elements which can be found again in the historical building of Kö 1. The exclusivity of this club is emphasised by a further highlight: In Germany's third Dom Pérignon Lounge, guests are offered seats directly in the area where things are happening. The 'meshugge bar' is the little sister within the overall concept. Music types such as Deep and Tech-House may be predominant here; however, they are constantly subject to new interpretations. Old school design elements in a contemporary look reflect the foundations of this special area. A separate lounge is offered as a haven of tranquility. Light colours and clear forms are reflected in the interior concept and create a retreat with a view of the future Kö-Bogen. Immediately below the club area, 'the attic kö eins' offers parking possibilities from which a direct entry into the premises is made possible. Brauerei Schumacher

Stadtmitte - Schumacher is Düsseldorf's oldest brewery with its main building in Oststraße and a pub in Bolker Straße. The history of Schumacher "Alt" beer goes back to the year 1838. "Latzen" beer is part of this tradition, a strong beer with 5.3 % Vol.. This beer is only served every third Thursday in March, September and November. Namely in the past, the brewing masters kept the best beer for themselves ("op de Latt"). more
