Trade fair visitor Franca Degani from Italy is mostly interested in sensors and instruments for quality control. “This is my field of business, so I need to see what's new. Also, I am looking for useful info for my job. And hope to find it in hall 4, I am very confident that I can see interesting stands there. I have been here at the fair for the second time now, and my expectations have always been met. I will come back again!”

Gerald Keppelinger from Austria

Gerald Keppelinger has come from Linz in Austria for a daytrip. “Overall, I am interested in anything that is shown in the halls. But I am especially fascinated by die-casting. In our foundry, we do not work with that technology, but nevertheless I think it's a great thing. There are really a lot of interesting things to see here and the trip to Düsseldorf was well worth it.”

Tim Johnson and John Masding from the UK

Tim Johnson and John Masding live in the UK. “We are interested in refractory products. The great thing about the trade fair is that we can meet anybody we need to see. Everybody is here in Düsseldorf, that makes business easy. Also, this is a very nice city to host a trade fair.”

Kyucheon Lee from Korea

“I am interested in the production of automobile parts”, says Kyucheon Lee from Korea. “Our company produces such parts and I want to talk with a lot of manufacturers who are specialised in this field. I think that the future for our business is a very bright one.”

Christine Amft visits some customers. "I am a salesperson and I like to talk to technicians. We can share experiences, especially when it's about one of our products, for example a special profile for steel heating furnaces.”

Zuzana Kovacikova and Karol Balco are from Slovakia. “Here in Düsseldorf, we visit our partners and customers. We are interested in cupola furnaces and electrical furnaces, because we both work in a foundry. At the trade fair, we have found everything that we looked for so far and we are very satisfied.”

Niklas Lapiralla from Germany

Niklas Lapiralla is still at school. The eighteen-year-old and his classmates have been invited to visit the company Schmetz at its booth. “ That's cool. It is interesting to see what the companies in the region I live in are doing. I am from the city of Menden and so is Schmetz. However, I don't know yet if I will one day work in this field.”

René Walker from Switzerland

René Walker is from Luzern in Switzerland. “I sell demolition robots, and this why I am here at the trade fair. I want to see what the competition has on offer, that is always interesting. I definitely plan to come back for the next trade fair in four years.”
