Dr Jan Weckes has taken over the position of managing director at SCHADE Lagertechnik GmbH in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.
For Jan Weckes, the new responsibilities at SCHADE Lagertechnik GmbH are “a milestone for the development of his career”. With the decision to become the global director of this renowned company, he remains true to his passion for sophisticated technology.
During his previous employment at IAS GmbH, an international technological leader in the field of building induction furnaces and part of the SMS Group, he played a significant part in increasing the order volume and expanding the strategic cooperation within the group. Before this, during his time at MBE Coal & Minerals Technology GmbH, he successfully headed the establishment of the Global Sales & Marketing department. In both positions, the focus was evenly split between developing new plants and services. He increased his familiarity with the markets relevant to SCHADE Lagertechnik during international assignments for Outotec GmbH.
Dr Jan Weckes has now focussed his years of experience on mastering his new responsibilities: “SCHADE Lagertechnik is among the internationally leading companies in the fields of bulk material yards and blending beds.
