Reichmann presents MAUS machine line with innovative self-optimisation software at GIFA 2023
Reichmann Casting Finishing is using this year's Gifa in Düsseldorf to present a whole range of innovations and trend-setting technologies in automatic grinding. A special highlight is the innovative self-optimisation software for the MAUS grinding machines.
The new MAUS machine line is clearly in focus at Gifa 2023. The flexible Maus 600, 900 and 1400 grinding machines cover a wide machining spectrum from small to very large and heavy castings. What they all have in common is the exceptionally simple and fast programming and fixture creation as well as the high-quality results. With a MAUS machine, customers receive state-of-the-art technology and engineering competence "Made in Germany".
The latest member of the MAUS family is the powerful Maus 1400. As the "big brother" of the Maus 600 and 900, the MAUS 1400 offers an even higher power density with a machining area for large and heavy castings weighing up to 600 kg and 1400 mm in diameter. The Maus 1400 has up to three tools without the need for time-consuming tool changes, enabling extremely flexible machining.
Innovative self-optimisation software

The new self-optimisation software detects unrecognised optimisation potential on the MAUS machining programme and can thus shorten throughput times and optimally utilise machine performance. The software ensures perfect interaction between operator and machine and helps foundries to make work processes even more efficient, increase productivity and reduce costs.
Wide product portfolio of grinding and cutting machines
In addition to the MAUS line, Reichmann offers numerous other specialised solutions for cutting and grinding castings. Together with the established REMA machine range and the after-sales services for existing MAUS s.r.l. installations, Reichmann will present the complete product and service portfolio for grinding shops at the Gifa trade fair stand 17D61 - from manual free-hand cutters to fully automatic casting finishing centres in one interlinked solution.
