Steel company Danieli was happy to announce that, in early 2024, it is moving its German head office from Duisburg to Düsseldorf. The new premises will be located in the Airport Garden building at Düsseldorf Airport (DUS).
The decision to move was made with a view to benefiting from Düsseldorf Airport’s strategic location and excellent advantages in terms of infrastructure. This will allow Danieli Germany to communicate and collaborate more efficiently with customers and partners around the world.
In making the switch from Duisburg to Düsseldorf, the business will still be located in the immediate vicinity of the Ruhr – the region which is home to Europe’s largest steel hub. At the same time, the new head office will be closely linked to the largest transport hub in the region and offer excellent transport connections.
The Airport Garden building has been awarded the gold standard certification in internationally recognised sustainability for real estate under LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Specifically, the workspaces in the building are heated and cooled in an energy-efficient manner, yielding a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions.
Electric vehicles can be left to charge at a large number of charging points in the underground car park. The new workspaces accommodate the change to more flexible working practices since the pandemic and are based on the New Work concept.
