Thyssenkrupp: Future changes to the board

After almost 28 years of working in various top management positions in the thyssenkrupp Group, most recently as a member of the Board of Directors of thyssenkrupp AG since October 2019, Dr. Klaus Keysberg has decided not to be available for an extension of his contract, which runs until July 31, 2024. 

Against this background, the Human Resources Committee of the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp AG has started the usual search process in order to be able to propose a successor solution to the Supervisory Board as quickly as possible. 

“We respect the decision of Dr. Klaus Keysberg, even if we regret his departure. I would like to thank Dr. Klaus Keysberg for his many years of commitment to the company in a variety of functions. I would especially like to thank him for his commitment as a board member of thyssenkrupp AG over the last four years. During this time, Klaus Keysberg has carefully and carefully accompanied the company's comprehensive change process and has thus made a significant contribution to the progress achieved so far in the transformation of thyssenkrupp," explains Professor Siegfried Russwurm, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of thyssenkrupp AG.
