PATTERN SHOP

Dirinler Döküm is ambitious about manufacturing in-house wooden and polystyrene patterns, and  maintaining in pattern warehouse in order to store and apply repair. Pattern shop produces adequate pattern, utilizing the latest CAD / CAM – technology, responsible for  the first and most important step of iron casting process.  At the casting planning stage, the necessary simulations are applied by using programs like Magma,  Novacast and NovaFlow & Solid CV ™. In this manner, the most economical production method can  be calculated. Based on the design, the patterns are produced by in-house machining centers or using conventional  manufacturing techniques. In the pattern shop, there are 3-axis and 5-axis CNC routers, model measuring instruments and  equipment to machine Wood, Styrofoam, Araldite and Aluminum material required for the pattern.  

Thanks to the pattern production capacity and storage flexibility, Dirinler foundry owns the leading  pattern shop in Turkey.

MELTING

With the monthly target of 1,350 tons of iron melting process the capacity was increased in the  beginng  2016 by new investments induction furnaces:

2 x 5 tons / hour, (3500 kVA 250 Hz)

2 x 4 tons / hour (3000 kVA 250 Hz)

Other facilities used in the smelting;

2 automatic furnace loading cars

Mg Treatment facilities with 2 feeder springs

Pans heater (900C)

Ladles between 1-15 tons of various sizes and number

MOULDING AND SAND PREPARATION

For iron casting molds, up to 300 tons of sand move everyday with 4 high-tech sand mixers and sand reclamation system.

The molds prepared with "hand molding" the mixture of binders, such as regenerated silica sand,  resin and hardener are created by our long years experienced staff to a perfect piece casting.

Capacity in the form of unit;

Sand processing mixer: 2 x 50 tons / hour, 1 x 30 tons / hour, 1 x 15 tons / hour Mechanical sand 

reclamation system: 2 x 15 tons / hour

Thermal Regeneration System: 2 tons / hour

Sand Silo: 5 x 100 tons, 50 tons 1 x 2 x 30 tons

Advanced Technology Sand Channel: 8

Since 1974, the foundry Dirinler Döküm Sanayi Turizm Liman Isl. ve Tic. A.Ş,  belonging to the Dirinler group specializing to manufacture complex castings for the global market.

 

In a closed area of 30,000 m² the Dirinler foundry produces with its two 5 tons / hour and two 4 tons / hour induction and 4 modern sand mixers, as well as the latest technological equipment, 16,200 tons of cast iron per year.

 

Dirinler produces a wide range of product categories, such as gray cast iron (EN-1561) and ductile iron (EN-1563). Max unit weights - cast iron up to 15 tons and nodular cast iron up to 12 tons.

Product engineering, designing, pattern making and processing services are regarded as a whole for our leading customers in various sectors and performed under the high quality and superior service concept.

 

Clients are international companies in the wind power industry, shipbuilding, machine, mechanical equipment, gear manufacturers, turbine manufacturers, pump, and water transportation industry and general mechanical industries.

 

Meeting customers’ high quality standards, Dirinler is certified 9001-2008 quality management standard by ISO and registered by Bureau Veritas, Lloyds Register, Det Norske Veritas, Germanischer Lloyd and American Bureau of Shipping, with its product quality. Also the ISO 14001 was completed enviromental management system- and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Certification of our foundry.

 

In order to achieve high production quality, casting simulation, spectrometric chemical analysis, metallographic structural and mechanical inspections, which are carried out in in-house laboratories of Dirinler foundry & casting patterns and castings are guaranteed with 3D measurements utilizing latest technology.
