About us

Company portrait

Most projects Mechatherm undertake are for a 'turn-key' supply, where by the client awards a single source contract for the complete supply of our equipment plus the ancillaries required for the overall process. Mechatherm then completes all the project management and co-ordination between client, suppliers and subcontractors.

Mechatherm is flexible enough to embrace a 'part supply' philosophy whereby we only supply detailed design, critical items and assistance for installation and commissioning. The client will then typically supply all fabricated steelwork, refractories, utility pipework etc. working to our designs and specifications. This can sometimes be advantageous to our clients who have a limited budget to work with.
Mechatherm have completed projects on every continent in all parts of the world. We have vast experience of customising our furnace designs to suit specific locations, local standards and regulations.

Mechatherm utilise many different global sub-contractors and suppliers for our equipment fabrication, proprietary equipment supplies and finally the required installation labour to complete the work.  We generally employ reputable local companies close to where our equipment will be installed, in order to take advantage of local market costings. Mechatherm has established and developed a worldwide supply chain network over the years.
