Duplexed Mill Roll Centrifugal Casting Machine

The horizontal type roll centrifugal casting machines are used to produce the duplexed hot rolling rolls. The roll casting process divided into two steps. The first step is the horizontal casting of roll shell/outer layer, the second step is the vertical static casting of roll core. The two steps are proceeded continuously in sequence in two separated casting sites. After the static casting is finished, the newly casted roll will be positioned in the ground pit for curing for 24 hours in a certain degreed temperature. Comparing with vertical type centrifugal casting machine, the horizontal type roll centrifugal casting machine’s cost is cheap, investment is low and more flexible, but its mechanization degree is low, thus the labor cost is on high side because the two casting process (centrifugal casting and static casting) need to be done by two separated machines in two different casting sites.

The horizontal mill roll centrifugal casting machine adopts fully automated systems utilizing programmable logic controllers (PLC) with functions of automatic pouring, automatic mold coating, automatic mold inner wall cleaning and automatic extraction. The duplexed mill roll’s diameter ranged from 300mm to 1,200mm with length ranged from 500mm to 6,000mm. The CCM can bear the load of metal liquid upto 100 Metric Tons.

Magnesium Metal Reduction Retort

Our retort centrifugal casting line produces Pidgeon Process magnesium or calcium metal reduction retorts and recycles the old used retorts. We produce both vertical and horizontal retort to reduce the magnesium or calcium metal by Pidgeon process technology. The retort is produced by our hot mold horizontal Centrifugal Casting Machine classified to diameters range from 300mm to 800mm with lengths range from 3,000mm to 3,500mm. The retort’s chemical compositions are C: 0.2-0.25,Cr: 27-29, Ni: 9-11, Si: 1.5-2, Mn: 1-1.5, S: ≦0.035, P: ≦0.035, N: ≦0.3. With advanced technology and Know-How, our retort’s life span can reach to 120 days under reaction temperature between 1200 and 1260 centigrade.
